We hiked into Kohta's Circus from the back side. We started at Mud Wash. Along the very interesting route we found many petroglyphs including the Lollipops. Scott and I did about 8 miles total but most because we were exploring the side canyons and slots. Our direct trip back was only 2.5 miles meaning this trip can be done as a 5 mile round trip. Great route.
